Each bottle of Dyson 02 Probiotic hard floor cleaning solution contains a blend of 7 strains of probiotics and 250 billion probiotic colony forming units. As well as an odour encapsulant and a fragrance, which provides a pleasant refreshing smell.
Dyson 02 contains probiotics, an odour encapsulant, and fragrance. These help to improve odours in the machine and degrade contaminants that are not removed effectively during the self-clean cycle. Water doesn’t contain any odour neutralising compounds or chemistry to improve dirt removal, so organic contaminants and odours are likely to build up on the roller.

For best results we recommend using Dyson 02 Probiotic in every clean. This helps maintain a high population of probiotics on the floor and throughout the machine, so they can continue working between cleans. The period between cleans is dependent on the needs of the user.
Dyson 02 prevents odours by quickly breaking down biomaterials and using the products for energy and growth, preventing the formation of smelly chemicals like ammonia. It can also reduce smells by degrading molecules like volatile fatty acids.
The probiotic strains in Dyson 02 Probiotic are all naturally occurring strains from the Bacillus species. They have a long history of human contact and in many cases, are used in production or preservation of foods. The safety of Bacillus species has been considered and ruled upon by the highest authorities within the EU, the European Food Standards Agency and the European Chemicals Agency. All are biological agent Hazard Category 1, the lowest possible, which means they are very unlikely to cause human disease.
We recommend using 20ml of Dyson 02 when cleaning with your Dyson WashG1™ and 10ml when cleaning with your Dyson Submarine™.
Dyson 02 Probiotic hard floor cleaning solution is cloudy and not a clear solution.
Dyson 02’s shelf life is 2 years. It is not affected by opening or unsealing.
Dyson 02 has been specially formulated to work with Dyson wet cleaners, like WashG1™ and Submarine™. Other formulations may cause excessive foaming on the floor or be incompatible with the plastics and other materials.
No, Dyson 02 should not be combined with chemical disinfectants, as they will affect the probiotics performance.
There are no special storage requirements for Dyson 02. It can be stored in a dark, cool place, like conventional cleaners. Make sure to keep it away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
