1. Rough-dry to 70% with the bare product or Gentle air attachment, combing through any tangles.

2. Use the Flyaway smoother in Smoothing mode to dry, align and smooth the hair.

Frequently asked questions

Smoothing mode works best on straight or slightly wavy hair. Flyaway mode must be used on dry hair and works best on naturally straight or wavy hair, or straightened hair of any type.

The Flyaway smoother has a rotating mechanism that allows for a multi-functional styling tool. To switch modes, rotate the end cap of the attachment until you hear an audible ‘click’ sound.

Yes, the Flyaway smoother is compatible with all previous versions of the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer.

In case of product build up on the bristles, wipe them with a clean, damp cloth.

Yes, the Flyaway smoother can be used on wet hair in Smoothing mode. We suggest the following styling routine:
