Using your machine

Power your machine on or off, and increase or decrease airflow using the middle dial.
Sleep mode and Oscillation are activated using their respective buttons to either side.

    Understand your LCD Screen

    The screen shows your chosen airflow speed. It also shows when Sleep mode is activated and displays Sleep timer intervals as you cycle through them.

    Setting the oscillation angle

    Press the button with the moon icon for the quietest airflow settings and a dimmed display.

Using your remote

Your remote controls all the features that can be operated on the fan itself:

  • Power
  • Airflow
  • Oscillation
  • Sleep mode

Additionally, it allows you to activate Sleep timer.
It’s curved and magnetised to store neatly on your machine.

Sleep timer

Program your fan to turn off after a chosen length of time. Press the Sleep timer button on your remote to cycle through the pre-set intervals, from 15 minutes to 9 hours.

Sleep mode is activated on the Dyson Cool CF1 fan using the remote and the timer is reflected on the screen.
