Homes can be up to 7X more polluted than the air outside3

Many household items – from decorating materials, to flooring, to plants – can release microscopic particles and gases. This includes formaldehyde, which can quickly build up and keep polluting for over a year.

Common household pollutants

  • Extreme close ups of harmful particles and gases, including formaldehyde.

    Pollen and allergens

  • Extreme close ups of harmful particles and gases, including formaldehyde.

    Industrial emissions

  • Extreme close ups of harmful particles and gases, including formaldehyde.

    Ultrafine particles

  • Extreme close ups of harmful particles and gases, including formaldehyde.

    Gases and VOCs

Cleaning products, gas stoves and car exhausts

Formaldehyde is 500X smaller than PM0.1

It's a potentially harmful chemical, emitted by numerous household products. It's particularly difficult to capture, and can pollute continuously.

Automatically senses and reports particles and gases, in real time

With three intelligent sensors, the Dyson purifier fan automatically detects airborne particles and gases – including formaldehyde. The built-in LCD screen shows you which pollutants your machine has detected.4

Captures and destroys

The advanced 360˚ filtration system captures potentially harmful pollutants, removes gases, and destroys formaldehyde continuously.1

Two airflow modes

The machine has two separate apertures, to release air from either the front or back of the machine. The valve mechanism turns a rotational baffle around the arc of the amplifier, to switch the direction of the airflow.
